John 3:16 Whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life REDEMPTION

Due to mandela effect, this well know verse reads "should not perish" now. Should or shall ?

Hebrews 10:
10   By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11   And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12   But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13   From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14   For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

The first sin of man brought the knowledge of his nudity:

Genesis 3:7   And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Nudity is now sin before God:

Revelation 3:16   Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

Matthew 22:
11   And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12   And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13   Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14   For many are called, but few are chosen.

Weeping an gnashing of teeth are associated with outer darkness, but also with unquenchable fire:

Matthew 13:42   And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

The eternal fire initially prepared for satan and his angels. Those who serve him will rejoin their master there:

Matthew 25:41   Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

And the hypocrites also:

Matthew 24:51   And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

1) The reaction of Adam and Eve

Because of their nudity, Adam and Eve "sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons".
Sin leaded to spiritual nakedness, and it's wage is death before God. So Adam and Eve covered themselves by the work of their own hand: redemption by works.

God won't accept it.
God himself provides a covering:

Genesis 3:21   Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

This is the first mention of death in the Scriptures. To cover the sin of man, an innocent animal, unrelated to the transgression, must die to give an adequate covering of the shame.
Which animal is it ?

Same type with Abel and Caïn:

Genesis 4:
2   And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
3   And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4   And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5   But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Cain offers the product of the earth, made by working hard the earth: works. Abel offers the firstborn of his flock: the Messiah, faith.

This figure is precised in the sacrifice of Abraham.

2) The sacrifice of God

Abraham brings his son on a mountain, as ordered by God:

Genesis 22:
10   And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
11   And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
12   And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
13   And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
14   And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

God is not cruel, he doesn't like death.
God want us to understand by Abraham, the pain of the separation of his only Son, to pay the ransom of mankind.
The ram is the Lamb.

Where is the pleasure, to put a lamb to death ?
The first Hebrews were pastors, nomads seeking the promise land which is not of this earth. A good pastor knows his flock, where is his pleasure to kill an innocent lamb ?

The wages of sin are death.

God dealt with the consequences of sin 2000 years ago on the cross. The Lamb made himself serpent and curse for us:

Deuteronomy 21:
22   And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree:
23   His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Numbers 21:8   And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

John 3:
13   And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14   And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15   That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
17   For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18   He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

By our sin, we are all servants and slaves of satan.
We are the spiritual sons of the serpent.
Le price to pay was too high, sewing leaves was derisory.

God himself provides for the shame of our nudity. He offers the skin of the Lamb.

It is free. Who want it ?

3) By Faith or by works ?

We are justified by faith, but judged according to our works. this is written everywhere along the Bible.

There is no contradiction : If you see a contradiction, you are a hypocrite.

I was one. In fact I made almost each error.
But here is the perfection of the Scriptures: every misinterpretation has a verse waiting to reveal it.
If one searches truly God and his way, he will find it: the straight way ,not a step to the left, not a step to the right.
The labourer is worthy of his hire

James is perfect to clear the mind:
Faith without works is dead: show me your faith without works, I will show you my faith by my works"

No mean to boast as Paul said. Perfection is the norm of God.
Below 100%, it is sin.

We are far away from perfection: born in sin, we will leave this place with it.

1John 1:8   If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
(See the repetitions added by the mandela effect in 1John 1)

We can't buy redemption: it is the gift of God.
To accept it, to bow the knee before Jesus Christ and burst in tears for our life of misery, means to desire a new heart. With a new, circumcised heart, our thoughts, words and actions are changing.
Everything is not instantaneous: once on the narrow way to life, one has to walk.

This is the new birth and the walk by the Spirit:

John 3:
7   Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8   The wind bloweth where it wishes, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

In the love of Jesus Christ.
